Paul Jon

Cartoonist Paul Jon pulls his material from his childhood as a military brat. During his youth, his family moved to many different stations, including Fort Leavenworth, Fort Jackson, and Fort Knox. Since 2005, he has draw the comic strip "Fort Knox," comparing his method of tapping his childhood for material to Charles Schulz's for "Peanuts." Jon also runs the creative services department of a software company in addition to his duties as a cartoonist, and holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of South Carolina. Outside his own comic strip, his art has also appeared in newspapers, magazines, and online publications nationwide.
